About Us
Looking back seventy-four years ago, when Chong Clan Association had established earlier,
Singapore was a colony , the Chinese along eastern coastal areas of China migrated here in seek of better living.
Most came here unaccompanied, they rely on our Clan seeking shelter. We were no exception at assisting them .
Years since it was founded, the clan looked into the welfare of the natives and bonded them together. The natives benefited with help provided from the clan members .
The board of leaders in the committee gave their best to provide for their welfare.
Their spirit of service was very worthy of our admiration and respect.
As the decade passes, our clan groups did not fall back but progressed in pace with society. We are here now for 74 years.
Today, Singapore being a developed country, the citizens are always well prepared to offer their best and contribute for the country in order to achieve happiness and prosperity for our nation.
In line with the mission and vision of building our nation, the clan is always vigilant and ready to progress with social development of the country, in order to survive and maintain its reputation.

七十四年前当庄氏公会成立的当初以及更早的时候，新加坡还是一个殖民地，华人从中国沿海一带飘洋过海来到这里谋生，大多数是举目无亲。他们唯一的依靠，
便是寻求宗乡会馆的庇护。在其时，宗乡会馆的确曾经发 挥了其协助乡人的作用。庄氏公会当然也不例外。
在它成立以来的这些年间，积级为庄姓的宗亲会员谋福利。厉届的理事们都能任劳任怨，通力合作地把会务推向更高峰。他们的服务精神，值得我们钦佩。
当然时代是会改变的。随着时代的变迁，我国的宗乡团体也必须作出相应的调整，才不至于受到时代的淘汰。七十四年后的今天，新加坡已是一个新兴的独立国家。生活在这个国度的人民都希望能够贡献一份力量，使国家蘩荣和强大，使人民快乐和安康。
